At Alliance Green Services USA, we are proud to welcome and highlight the successful integration of women into our field teams. In a traditionally male-dominated industry, this progressive openness marks a major step forward.
Four women: Toccara Towner, Patricia Washington, Pam Anderson, and Carlie Wood now hold key roles as machine operators, truck drivers, and inventory managers. They work on an equal footing with their male counterparts and are extremely well integrated.
We gathered their testimonials about their daily lives. While most adapt quickly thanks to previous industrial experience, they unanimously acknowledge the initial challenge of having to prove their skills in a male-dominated environment. However, they emphasize the warm welcome and support they receive from their male colleagues, which makes it easier for them to adapt, including to managing work cycles and balancing family life.
All of them recommend this career path to young girls, highlighting what they appreciate most about their job: team spirit and solidarity, friendliness, but also the pleasure of working outdoors and operating machinery. These women demonstrate strong determination, great respect for the rules, and a taste for a job well done, proving that women in industry are a valuable asset to be developed.
As one of them points out: “Strong women are forged by the storms they weather, by pain, mistakes, and heartbreak, from which they draw pride and strength.”
